Our original pickle recipe has been passed down for generations. My Great Grandma, "Grandma Toots" as we called her, started making them when she was a young southern girl. She guarded the recipe with her life, and when she taught my Grandma, and then my Mom, they had to promise not to share it with anyone. Now that I have the secret recipe and make them as well, they always seem to be spoken for before I even begin to make them. They have always been a staple in our family and at family gatherings, and now almost everyone I know who has tried them asks for a jar or the recipe (sorry not gonna happen!).
Over the years countless people have told us we should sell them, so I have decided to do just that. I have no background in the food industry, so everything along the way has been a learning experience.
